Brilliant British Breakfast (with baked beans)

To round up the topic “food” as well as a successful first semester at our school, both 1a and 1b students tasted a number of real ingredients that make up the traditional British breakfast in the final week before the semester break. The choice was varied. There was real English marmalade, salted butter, Irish butter, peanut butter, English tea with milk and last but not least baked beans on toast which some liked more than others.

A few students even took bacon and American pancakes to school (thank you so much!), so our tummies were definitely filled up at the end of the lesson. To practise their English in this “real life” situation, students had a go at English phrases by ordering and answering correctly in English. An enjoyable experience that will probably be repeated in the future!
