Drama in Education: All the world’s a stage
Not only the world is a stage, but also our classrooms provide stages for great drama and lots of learning. Acting is a vital means of teaching as it fosters various skills in students. They train and practise their pronunciation, fluency, and flexibility as well as their command of language in terms of vocabulary and grammar.
Likewise they develop personality and character, deal with diverse issues, and acting is an awful lot of fun. The latter is a central factor in learning. Consequently, drama techniques are repeatedly used in class. This time, 3a and 3c students acted out a sketch. Teenagers are fighting for their park as meeting and play ground because it is to be changed into a car park. They organise the protest and win. Well roared lions!!!
