Oliver Twist

The famous story of Oliver Twist, a young orphan who grows up in poverty and desperately tries to stay good in a gang of pickpockets, was the subject of this year’s English guest performance at Linz Landestheater. No question that our Year 5 students together with their English teachers Ms Gaisberger and Ms Long could not miss this extraordinary opportunity to watch a play in English and celebrate Charles Dickens’ 200^th birthday at the same time.

So off they went to Linz to be impressed by the outstanding performances (only five actors/actresses playing more than a dozen of different roles) that have certainly made up for the dark mood of the play and will be remembered for quite some time.
