Acting makes the world go round

This February our year 6 students enjoyed workshops with Mr. David Taylor, actor, director, playwright with Vienna's English Theatre. 6a and 6b each spent a day acting, improving language skills, and having fun.

The plays this time were the Othello send-up 'Three Murders, A Suicide and a Near Miss' and 'The Canterbury Tales'. It was challenging to learn lines and really open up and go into acting. However, with his motivating and empathic way of directing and supporting the students, David Taylor ensured the workshops were a great success. Consequently the plays got performed at open day 2012. We are very much looking forward to doing the big theatre project next school year.
