‘Canterbury Tales’ and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’

Together with Mr. David Taylor, Vienna’s English Theatre, and their teachers Ms Mitterweissacher and Mr Meyer 6a and 6b dived into the world of comedy and drama. For one day each class worked on a play, directed by our ‘God of Theatre’, Mr. Taylor. 6a had prepared ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and 6b staged ‘Canterbury Tales’. What a hilarious experience.
We learnt a lot about acting, ourselves, and also our beloved foreign language, English. The plays were filmed at the end. The biggest challenge were the performances on open day in January. It was such a wonderful experience. We look forward to rehearsing our final play during the coming school year.
