Let me entertain you

This year’s 5a and 5b mixed English group (with Ms Mitterweissacher) underwent an open learning and moodle project about the topic of ‘Entertainment’. There were crossword, hangman, jumble vocabulary games as well as series like ‘Keeping Up Appearances’ and ‘Two and a Half Men’.
We talked about Monty Python’s and learnt about the importance of humour and discussed cultural entertainment offers like concerts, films or TV.
Of course, we also enjoyed being entertained by a book, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Additionally we also learnt about autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. Essays and articles were produced and finally students became stars themselves when they acted out scenes from the book.
