Perspectives on Native Americans
In the course of an open learning session covering five lessons, students from classes 4a and 4b are dealing with the topic "Native Americans" . Their course participation is based on a workplan which involves working with the learning platform moodle for multimedia exercises like scenes from "Dances with Wolves"
and listening comprehension exercises, research activities and quizzes as well as the close study of handouts and further additional visual material provided at several stations in the classroom. The project constitutes an ideal blend of e-learning and open learning and enables the students to plunge into an interesting and challenging process of autonomous discovery of the culture and tragic history of the Native Americans.
