Run over to Johnny’s Restaurant!

What does a chef do when they have run out of important ingredients to cook the meals promised on the menu? They, of course, ask the waiter to run over to the restaurant nextdoors to fetch the desired food and satisfy the guests. Thus, stressful, embarrassing and funny moments are guaranteed for everybody.
This is the content of a sketch that our 2a students acted out with a lot of enthusiasm, humour and confidence in the latest English-POOL-session.

Not only did our young actors dress up eagerly and slip into the roles of the customers and staff members while acting out the sketch, they also practised useful phrases and vocabulary for choosing and ordering food in English in a restaurant.
So, we shouldn’t go hungry when going out for a meal on our next holiday and relying on our English skills!
