Strange things from space?

Do you believe in aliens? What could they possibly look like? UFOs - what’s all the fuss about? These are some of the questions 2a students dealt with in their English POOL session during lockdown. Though the thought of a possible existence of extraterrestrial life surely is exciting, it is even more fascinating (at least for their English teacher 😉) that 2a students managed to enrol themselves for their English course on EDUVIDUAL, an upcoming learning management system these kids had never used before, and carry out a variety of tasks the teacher provided them with.

Instructed and guided via distance learning, the students practised relevant skills while viewing and working on topic-related material, doing research on famous aliens from TV and reading an entertaining story about a funny encounter between two very friendly creatures from space and a (rather rude) girl from planet Earth – just to mention some of the activities involved. The results certainly illustrate the students’ enthusiasm.
